NewRiver and Mobular Settle Patent Litigation

ANDOVER, Massachusetts, February 23, 2009 --- NewRiver, Inc. and Mobular Technologies, Inc. today jointly announced that they have settled the patent litigation between the parties and all issues surrounding NewRiver's United States Patent Number 6,122,635 for Mapping Compliance Information Into Useable Format. Mobular will cease and desist offering its mobileCompliance product in its current form. Remaining terms of the settlement are confidential.

NewRiver and Mobular declined further comment on the matter.
