The Account Manager mission is to actively engage in the success of NewRiver at the customer site through interaction with customer management. By engaging customer management, solving business problems, positioning the value of NewRiver applications/ technology and assisting with the planning of the implementation, the Account Manager will help the customer to be successful. When customers are successful they will be good references which, in turn, fuels company growth.

Essential Duties/Tasks: |
- Develop an account and reference plan for review with customer and NewRiver management
- Conduct quarterly Account Reviews with customer management - defining status of business solution deployment/utilization, enabling factors, roadblocks and overall customer satisfaction
- Position key sponsors to participate in marketing events
- Position key sponsors to jointly create industry reference tools and "best practice" materials for marketing.
- Position sponsors to provide references
- Help customer to create a reference FAQ
- Create a reference positioning document for each customer (e.g., how to use)
- Understand the business problems that must be resolved through the use of NewRiver solutions
- Own escalated problem management and create resolution plans
- Own all business issues and drive to conclusion
- Conduct service assessment
- Perform risk assessment and develop a risk mitigation strategy with the customer
- Conduct milestone reviews of progress against project plan
- Conduct pre-production readiness assessment
- Conduct post-production project review
- Create a "go live" document (with content useful for sales directors) and update with each new project/release
- Articulate planned enhancements and content of PDU (Product Deliverable Update) information to customers, and help them understand impact and benefit
- Promote a positive and fun work environment

Knowledge of Industry, Product, and Technology: |
- 3-5 years Account Management experience
- 4-6 years experience in the financial services sector, preferably with a money management firm, servicing agent, or commercial data provider
- Knowledge of SEC compliance highly desirable
- 2-4 years application software implementation experience

Education and Other Qualifications: |
- Bachelors degree in related field of study
- Skilled in conflict resolution
- Skill in relationship development/management
- Strong oral presentation and written communication skills
- Ability to manage customer relationships
- Flexible and easily adapts to change
- Entrepreneurial spirit
- Ability to travel up to 40%
